The vision of the Town of Beausejour's Council is to promote Beausejour as a safe, economically diversified and growing community, where residents share a spirit of community.

Mission Statement

The Town of Beausejour delivers services and provides and maintains infrastructure and facilities for the daily operations and long-term development of the Town.  Council provides leadership and is accountable and transparent to the ratepayers and residents of Beausejour.

On behalf of Council and our staff it is my pleasure to welcome you to the Town of Beausejour Website.

We hope that you are able to find all the information that you are looking for and if you feel that something is missing please contact our Office.

I am confident that when you visit our community that our citizens will greet you warmly and make you feel very much at home.

I am sure that you will be impressed by the wide range of resources we have within our community. We are blessed with a very large group of active volunteers that make this a great place to live.

It is indeed an exciting time for Council and myself to have been elected to serve our community for the next four years. We will work hard on being a strong team while using a common sense approach.

Our Town Crest

 Our Town Crest reflects the following:

Beaver: The first town’s newspaper was named the Beausejour Beaver. The first town’s intermediate hockey team was called the Beausejour Beavers.

Blue: Beausejour is half way to work and play, from Winnipeg to the Whiteshell Resort and lakes.

Bronze: Tribute to the pioneers who built the beginning of our area at the turn of the century.

Cross: Represents Faith.

Green: In the olden (early) days forests were means of earning additional income. Everybody went to the bush during the winter.

Sheaf of Wheat: The main industry of the area is agriculture.

White: Good grade/quality limestone is found 7 miles west of Beausejour. The Legislative Building and the Parliament Building of Canada are built from this Limestone, plus many other buildings.
