SUMMARY:Beausejour 2-Person Stick Bonspiel
DESCRIPTION:Our first ever 2-Person Stick Bonspiel is scheduled for Jan 27 and 28\, 2023.  There will be 3 draws on Friday evening and the remaining 9 draws on Saturday.\n\n\nFormat\n\nWe are planning on a double round-robin format.  The 16 teams will be divided randomly into 4 pools of 4 teams each and will play a round robin against the other teams in their pool.  After these games\, we will rank the teams in each pool from 1st to 4th.  We will then re-balance the pools to create a pool of the four 1st place teams\, a pool of the four 2nd place teams\, etc.  There will then be another round robin within each of these pools.  This will allow all teams to play 6 games (assuming a full field of 16 teams). \nOur current plan includes 3 draws on Friday evening (so two pools will play two games and two pools will play one game).  We will then play a total of 9 draws on Saturday during the day and finishing up in the evening.  There will also be supper provided for all players during the break between afternoon and evening games on Saturday.   All teams will have at least one game after supper on Saturday. \n\n\n\nHow to Enter\n\nThe entry fee is $80 per two-person team and we will be paying cash prizes for each win throughout the event.  This is an open bonspiel so teams can be any combination of men and women. Extra meal tickets will be available for purchase at the event for non-players. \nTo enter your team or if you have more questions\, please email Gary Plohman at srossing@mymts.net.
