We are a small family run honey farm located 3 miles East of Beausejour, Manitoba on Highway #44. As a responsible, eco-friendly business, we’re committed to keeping bees in their natural habitat in a local and sustainable way.
We do not move our bees for commercial pollination of crops. Our bees forage in the local area collecting pollen and nectar and in the process pollinate the plants, flowers and trees. We support other local beekeepers to provide variety of honey. Each honey is unique in color, flavor and aroma depending on the nectar of the flowers visited by the bees and season it was collected in.
Our hive tours are perfect for the bee lover and curious. Tours are designed to give you a truly hands-on honey bee experience in an active live beehive. You will learn about the life cycle, jobs and history of the honey bee and the benefits of honey. Your local tour guide and resident beekeeper will have you suiting up in protective gear and explaining the tools they use in the bee yard. You will be getting up close and personal with many honey bees!
Our tours are perfect for team building, or an adventure with friends and family! Tours are offered from Spring to August. Interested in gifting a tour to someone during our off-season. Consider purchasing a gift certificate & book the tour during the season.
We offer educational beehive tours to schools, clubs, groups, businesses and families. We have various tour experience packages available, starting from $20-$80. We also offer a junior bee keepers class for ages 12 and up, and a ‘spend a day with a bee keeper’ program.
